Pennant Hills Junior AFL Club (PHJAFC), with the assistance of the Top Blokes Foundation and AFL NSW/ACT, has just completed a series of 16 mental health workshops throughout June as part of the Movember’s “Ahead of the Game” program.

These programs are critical in ensuring club-level alliance with the AFL’s Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy, 2024-2027 (attached).

Pennant Hills Junior AFL Club are one of several clubs who have pioneered the way in delivering the program to male players aged from U13s through U17s. The course came at an opportune time when sporting clubs around the country are wanting to support player’s mental health but aren’t sure how to.
