Calling AFL footballers from the past. Round 2 of The Penno past players vs the World will be staged at 2pm, lower Mike Kenny Oval, Saturday July 2nd.
Over the next week, the recruitment process will be rigorous and unrelenting in order to get our 40 required players from past years.
We need Penno old boys (must be older than 40) and supporters of Penno who have never played a game for Penno, to step up, come forward and be part of a great day.

Mark Carroll ( coach of the World)
Terry O ( coach of Penno, but he doesn’t know yet, so keep it hush)
Phil Moriatis- today a grandfather (well done Doc)
Bob Wray ( seen those legs girls?)
Rod Miles ( back up coach, also not signed yet)
John Acheson ( will need convincing but certain to be heard)
Wayne Razor Keating( just need him off Dim Sim duties for an hour)
Darren ( pinky ) Green ( big chance to bag the umpires)
Allen Abbott ( bringing his own cheer squad)
Michael Cuz Cousens (unless he is required to play another BOG role for div 3 this day)
Yardy, Clarkey and Brawny (have all been invited, but only interested if this counts as an official club game and builds on their impressive recorded games history)

So get amongst us, and email me if you are even slightly interested. It’s only 2 qtrs of footy that will be played on a friendly basis ( we all have to work Monday) and a great social opportunity to be part of.
